While v1.1.6 is not a mandatory upgrade, it's recommended so that you get the latest security updates, and it will be easier to update to v1.2.0 before the Hard Fork.

One big change in this release is that we dropped support for Ubuntu 20.04, meaning if you are still running Ubuntu 20.04 you will have to upgrade to 22.04. We have written a handy guide to help you with this process:
